    DPS finds meth and cocaine hidden in Nogales schoolteacher's car

    TUCSON - A man who told DPS officers he is a Nogales school teacher was arrested last night after nearly 20 pounds of meth and 12 pounds of cocaine were found in hidden compartments in his vehicle.

    Police still investigating murder of homeless man

    TUCSON - Tucson Police are still investigating the murder of a 44-year-old homeless man who was found dead in a wash near the Tucson Mall earlier this month.

    William Hubertus was discovered on the morning of February 9 in a wash near Auto Mall Drive. Police say he was homeless, and was found with obvious signs of trauma.

    Police have released a photograph of Hubertus, and are asking anyone who has had contact with him to call 911 or 88-CRIME.

    The Pima County Sheriff's Department is doing what they can to stop this crime.

    They have partnered with Arizona Verified Destruction to host several "Shred-A-Thons."

    Fatal accident blocking I-19 north of Nogales

    TUCSON - One person is dead from a single-car accident that occurred on Interstate 19 near Nogales this morning.

    DPS officials confirm that one person is dead from a single car accident on I-19 at kilometer marker 4. Southbound lanes of I-19 are blocked in the area, but north lanes remain open.

    Only one vehicle was involved, DPS officials say, and it is unknown how many people were in the car.
