TUCSON- Pima County Sheriff's Department is on scene of an officer-involved shooting near West River Road and North Camino de la Tierra.

According to Tom Peine with PCSD, deputies responded to a domestic situation in the 6100 block of North Pepper Tree Lane early Sunday morning.

Upon arrival, the deputies located a female and male in the house.  When speaking with the male outside, the man reached for a weapon.

A deputy shot the male.  The suspect was transported to UAMC.
