NOGALES - A wanted Mexican national was arrested Wednesday on murder charges.
Alejandro Talamantes-Osorio, 28, was crossing into the U.S. when he was held for additional questioning, a release from the US Customs and Border Protection detailed.
Officers said Talamantes-Osorio admitted he was wanted on an outstanding warrant for homicide. He was arrested and turned over to the Tucson Police Department.
Talamantes-Osorio was wanted for a shooting Raymond Bracamonte outside an apartment last June. Police are still searching for Amulfo Mendoza, a second suspect wanted in the shooting.
