100 Nogales kids go on a holiday shopping spree

NOGALES, Ariz. - About 100 children in the Nogales area went shopping Sunday morning as part of the 39th annual "Holiday Project," put together by several community organizations.

Groups including the Nogales Lion's Club, Nogales firefighters, and the Green Valley Lions came together and took the kids on a shopping spree.

Volunteers helped kids pick out clothes at the Wal-Mart Supercenter and Payless Stores gave them new shoes.

Children also received toys and holiday food baskets donated by the "Nogales Community Food Bank.

After they went shopping, the children also went out for breakfast.
