A 16-year-old girl died Sunday morning in a car accident.

Pima County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the intersection of Artesiano Road and Ina Road around 12:24am.

This is west of I-10 near Wade Road and Picture Rocks Road.

Deputies found a car on its roof with three teenage girls trapped inside.

Northwest Fire responded to the scene to help get the girls out and provide medical aid for the victims.

Two 16-year-old passengers were taken to University Medical Center with minor injuries.

The driver, 16-year-old Julia Ann Good, died at the scene.

Investigators with the Traffic Unit determined the car had been driving too fast over dips on Ina Road and the driver lost control of the car.

Everyone wore their seatbelts.

Alcohol did not seem to be a factor in this incident.
