PHOENIX - Two teenagers were killed and four other people were wounded in a drive-by shooting that erupted as a party in north Phoenix was breaking up.
Phoenix police say Jason Jonathan Acosta-Ramos died after a person in a vehicle fired into a crowd outside the party around 3:30 a.m. Sunday. The party was a celebration of Acosta-Ramos' birthday.
The Arizona Republic reports that Phoenix police said later Sunday that 16-year-old Elliseo Cantu had died from his injuries.
Phoenix police Sgt. Tommy Thompson says a second 16-year-old boy was in extremely critical condition, a 17-year-old boy and 18-year-old boy suffered life-threatening injuries and a 21-year-old man suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators don't yet have a description of the vehicle that carried those responsible for the shooting.
