TUCSON - A 2-year-old was rescued from an eastside pool Tuesday, Tucson Fire spokesman Cpt. Barrett Baker said.
The child snuck through a gap in the pool's wrought iron fence where a bar was missing, Baker said. The child went directly to the pool when a nearby adult pulled him out and called 911.
The child was OK and did not need CPR, Baker said.
Baker had these tips for the upcoming pool season:
A - Active adult supervision
B - Barrier around pool
C - Classes on CPR, swimming, etc.
