TUCSON - Sunny skies and warmer temperatures are on their way back to the desert southwest.
After near freezing temperatures in Tucson this morning daytime highs will reach the low to mid 60s this afternoon, according to Meteorologist John Patrick. Sunny skies and light winds will help things feel much warmer than the past few days.
A weak system will move through the region on Sunday knocking the temperatures back down a bit and kicking up a NW breeze between 10-20mph. Any rain or snow with this system should stay in the White Mountains, well to the north of Tucson.
High pressure builds in by next week sparking a warming trend. Daytime highs gradually return to the 70s by next Thursday. Check out your True View 4 extended forecast here.
