70's now, warm-up starts this weekend

TUCSON - A 20 degree temperature jump between this afternoon and early next week.

Before the warmth comes one more cool day, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Highs today reach the low 70's in Tucson under sunny skies, which is roughly 10 degree below average. Expect 30's and 40's for overnight lows tonight across southern Arizona.

High pressure off the West Coast cranks up the thermometer heading into the weekend. Saturday and Sunday will see daytime highs reach the mid/upper 80's. The start of the new work week features a run at the 90 degree mark with ample sunshine.
