TUCSON - Mother Nature may be rewriting history this weekend.
High pressure over the West Coast dominates the weather in southern Arizona this week, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Today sees highs in the mid 70's under mostly sunny skies. The mercury rises to the 80's by Thursday.
Record high temps are possible this weekend in Tucson. Saturday's forecast high of 88° would eclipse the old record of 87° set in 1957. Western portions of the metro, Sells and Ajo may reach the low 90's to start the weekend.
Jeff will have a complete look at your True View 4 forecast this morning on Tucson Today and on News 4 Tucson at Noon.
