TUCSON - Warm wrap to the work week as the 70s make a comeback to Southern Arizona.
Tucson officially topped out at 72 this afternoon, five degrees above normal for the start of February. According to Meteorologist John Patrick, high pressure will hold strong for the next several days keeping highs in the low to mid 70s.
This weekend will not only see a rise in the temperatures but an increase in the cloud cover. As moisture streams in from the southwest expect partly sunny skies on Saturday. The thickening cloud cover could drop a sprinkle or two across Southern Arizona on Sunday but don't let that ruin any outdoor Super Bowl plans.
