UPDATE: Rafael Alvarez has been located. He wandered into Kino Hospital on the morning of June 17, 2013. He will be assessed medically before he is returned to the assisted living
facility where he resides.
TUCSON - Police are asking for the public's help in locating a 77-year-old missing man.
His name is Rafael Alvarez, and he was last seen at 10 p.m. on Sunday. According to Tucson Police, Alvarez spent the day, yesterday, celebrating Father's Day with his family.
At the end of the day, he was being dropped off at an assisted living facility near Country Club and Ajo Way by his daughter. According to police, Alvarez got upset and walked south towards the desert.
Alvarez has Parkinson's Disease and requires medication. If you have any information please call 911.
