TUCSON - The 80s return to the forecast along with the afternoon breezes.
The Old Pueblo finished the weekend off with a near perfect high of 75°under sunny skies and much lighter winds than Saturday. According to Meteorologist John Patrick, an area of high pressure building off of the California coast will start a warming trend on St. Patrick's Day Monday.
A forecast high of 83° tomorrow will put us about 10° above average. A disturbance moving through northern Arizona will also kick the winds back up to 15-25mph during the afternoon hours.
Zonal flow set up over the region starting Tuesday bringing us little day to day change through most of the upcoming work week. Highs in Tucson will range from 80-85° with overnight lows from 49-54°.
