TUCSON - High pressure drives temperatures to the warmest levels so far this year.
After a short lived break daytime highs were back into the low 90s today, according to Meteorologist John Patrick. Temperatures will continue to climb as we head into the upcoming work week peaking on Monday and Tuesday near 96. These will be the warmest days of the year so far but still no triple digits in the forecast.
A little relief is forecast late next week as a the tail end of a disturbance moves the region. Daytime highs will be knocked back into the upper 80s for both Thursday and Friday. We'll have to watch for some breezy conditions possibly leading to a high fire danger during this time period.
