TUCSON - Little change in the weather the past several days will give way late this week.
Daytime highs have been above average everyday for the month of October and today was no different with a high of 92, according to Meteorologist John Patrick. An area of high pressure just to our south will keep temperatures slightly above average through Wednesday with highs in the upper 80s and low 90s.
Big changes are on the way for the second half of the week as an area of low pressure moves over Arizona. Winds kick up starting Thursday and temperatures drop to 84 for Tucson. Enough moisture is associated with this system to support isolated showers and storms late Thursday and into Friday. The coolest temperatures since April are forecast for Friday with a high of 78.
