TUCSON - The string of 90 degree temps comes to a halt today.
A weak low pressure trough drops highs into the upper 80's this afternoon, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Temps fall a few more degrees Thursday as winds crank up around 30 MPH. Areas east of Tucson are under a Fire Weather Watch tomorrow, where potential for rapid wildfire growth exists.
The trough exits the state Friday, with a much nicer forecast on tap for the weekend. Expect ample sunshine and a return of the 90's Sunday through early next week.
