A woman, her kids displaced after early-morning fire

TUCSON - Firefighters with Tucson Fire Dept. battled a house fire near 29th street and Kolb.

There was heavy smoke and flames in the area when firefighters responde, shortly after 5 am. It took them about 15 minutes to put out the flames. The heaviest damage appears to be in the kitchen.

One woman was inside the house when the fire started, but she is said to be okay. Her and her three children will be receiving assistance from the Red Cross.
