TUCSON - Fire crews battled a fire at an abandoned duplex Sunday afternoon.
It happened around 12:30 p.m. at a boarded up duplex at 1930 S. Montezuma.
When crews arrived, they saw flames coming from the duplex. They cut a hole in the roof to allow air to get in.
There was no one living in the duplex. Fire damage is estimated to be about $10,000.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
