COCHISE COUNTY - A spokesperson for Cochise County Sheriff's Department is reporting that Paloma Trail is not accessible this morning.
Residents in the area are attempting to clear an exit route by using heavy equipment and a local rancher has opened the gate on the back portion to his property so those who live in the area can access Border Road to get to their home.
We're told there are several deputies checking on the residents and advising them, both in person and through signage placed on the roadways, of the alternate routes.
The Sheriff's Dept, is asking residents off of Paloma Trail that need assistance to contact the Sheriff's Office at 432-9500.
The Sheriff's Office has also added additional patrols, both day and night, in that vicinity to more effectively address calls for service.
