TUCSON - Well on our way to the upper 70's this afternoon, after a morning low of 47° at TIA.
Ample sunshine rules the rest of your Monday afternoon, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Highs reach the upper 70's today, which is 8-10° above average. Expect lows overnight to dip into the 30's for the mountains & eastern Cochise County. Metro Tucson wakes up to the mid 40's tomorrow.
Models still hint at a run at the record books for daytime highs this weekend. Saturday's forecast high of 85° would match the old record set back in 1957. Little weather worries the next 7 days, but pollen counts will rise along with the temps.
