TUCSON - The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Mt. Lemmon and a Winter Storm Warning for Mt. Graham and the White Mountains.
These advisories are in effect from 1 PM Saturday until 10 AM Sunday.
Valley rain and mountain snow is set to move in by tomorrow morning, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Snow levels fall to 7,000 feet, with 6-15" snow possible atop Mt. Lemmon. 10-20" snow looks likely for Mt. Graham and the White Mountains tomorrow through Sunday morning.
Travel in the higher elevations tomorrow will become treacherous. Gusty winds up to 30 MPH may produce limited visibility along Catalina Highway and Highway 191 in Greenlee County.
Watch Chief Meteorologist Matt Brode for the latest on our weekend Winter storm tonight on News 4 Tucson at 4, 5, 6 and 10.
