TUCSON - Some kids in the Amphi school district are using their arts and crafts project, to help kids at the hospital feel better.
About 125 students from Cross Middle School have been busy sewing puppets, made of socks, for young patients at Tucson Medical Center.
They've been working on the project since January.
Carolyn Reece sent us the pictures and video.
She says her students not only learn how to sew, but how important it is to create something for a kid.
Students hope these sock monkeys will provide comfort to kids and help brighten their time in the hospital.
