An 18-month-old boy nearly drowns on the southside

TUCSON - The Tucson Fire Department responded to a near drowning of an 18-month-old boy Saturday night in the 6900 block of South Missiondale Road.

TFD Captain Barrett Baker said the child was found in an above ground swimming pool in the front yard and was pulled out by an adult.

The boys parents were unloading groceries from the car when they noticed he was missing.
