TUCSON - The streak of chilly temps is over.
High pressure over Las Vegas brings back November warmth, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Today's afternoon highs reach the mid 70's, which is average for this time of year. Like yesterday, southern Arizona sees mostly sunny skies with a few cirrus floating around.
Overnight lows tonight drop into the 30's and 40's, with all valley floor locations staying above the freezing mark.
The forecast trends warmer and cloudier as the week goes on. Highs the rest of the week peak in the upper 70's to low 80's across the Tucson metro. A weak low pressure system brings partly cloudy skies by Thursday and Friday, with a slight chance of a mountain shower or two Friday afternoon.
Little weather worries this weekend, as Mother Nature dials up a perfect forecast for El Tour de Tucson. The early call pegs low 50's Saturday morning for the race start, with 70's by the finish line.
