GLENDALE- The Arizona Cardinals Football Club is hosting a "Mom's Football Safety Clinic" this Wednesday, July 30, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the University of Phoenix Stadium.
The clinic is being held in conjunction with USA Football's "Heads-Up Football" program, which teaches coaches and players proper tackling techniques, equipment fitting and general safety, including proper nutrition and hydration.
Several former Cardinals players will help demonstrate on-field drills using proper technique during the clinic.
The program begins with registration at Gate 2 at the north end of the stadium followed by classroom discussions from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and then the on-field drills from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
