CASA GRANDE - An Arizona man is being held in custody after being shot in the right ear by a sheriff's deputy.
41-year-old Scott McCreery pointed a gun at an officer who was trying to get him out of his house early Wednesday morning.
McCreery and his wife had gotten into an argument around 1 a.m. at their home outside of Casa Grande. She called the police.
When deputies arrived and ordered McCreery to come out of the house, he was armed with a handgun. After lifting it from his side and pointing the gun, he was shot.
McCreery is being held on suspicion of aggravated assault, domestic violence involving a handgun, and aggravated assault on a police officer.
