TUCSON - The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is opening its first major exhibit in ten years.
The new Warden Aquarium will open Saturday, featuring different types of fish and other creatures, including the Apache trout and the Colorado Pikeminnow.
The 1,100 square foot "Rivers to the Sea" exhibiit represents waterways that used to flow through the Sonoran Desert to the Gulf of California.
Executive Director Craig Ivanyi said the project was $750,000, a Marana family's $400,000 donation.
