TUCSON - The Accenture Match Play Championship has only grown in popularity, if attendance numbers from the first three days are any indication.
On the practice days, Monday and Tuesday, attendance was up 23 percent compared to last year. Yesterday, during the 1st Round of competitive play, attendance was 32 percent higher than 2011.
Tiger Woods and fellow American Nick Watney teed off this morning - marking the first time since 2009 that fans were able to see Tiger pas the first round.
