TUCSON - After a very warm weekend of weather, much cooler weather is headed toward Southern Arizona. Typically this time of year, cooler weather follows the gusty winds.
A Wind Advisory will go active for Central and Eastern Cochise County Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Southwest winds will range from 23-35 mph with gusts approaching 45-50 mph at times. Blowing Dust will be a concern especially along I-10 near the Willcox Playa.
Red Flag Warning's for the same period of time will go active for the rest of Southern Arizona for high fire danger.
High's will fall from the 90s today to the mid 80s Tuesday and to the mid to upper 70s by Wednesday and Thursday. Warmer weather with much less wind will return by Friday and into the weekend.
