TUCSON - The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for Mount Lemmon, Cochise, Graham and Greenlee Counties from 11 AM until this evening.

Locations include Summerhaven, Sierra Vista, Benson, Douglas, Safford, Clifton & surrounding communities.

Conditions are favorable for storms to produce widespread flooding within the watch area, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Scattered storms develop east of Tucson this afternoon, moving into the metro this evening through the overnight hours.

A few storms may become severe with locally heavy rain the biggest threat.
