TUCSON - The Sonoran Wind Machine cranks up this afternoon.
High pressure reorganizing over Arizona brings gusty winds up to 20 MPH today, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Under partly cloudy skies, high temps reach the mid 80's. Less wind is in the forecast Thursday, but cloud cover and temps remain the same.
Early next week sees a cold front approach from southern California. Gusty winds return to the forecast Easter Sunday. While the northern portion of Arizona sees a few showers Monday and Tuesday, southern Arizona will be partly cloudy & blustery. Tuesday's forecast high of 75 degrees is roughly 2-4 degrees below average.
