TUCSON - Sheriff's deputies are taking the necessary precautions to keep everyone safe from a flooded area on the Westside.
Sheriff Deputies responded to the area near Sandario and Snyder Hill after someone called in and said they were trapped in their home because of rushing water surrounding it.
Deputies determined the Brawley wash overflowed from the rain.
Several drivers tried to pass and were pretty upset when they weren't allowed through.
Sheriff Deputies are now allowing people through with an escort to areas not as flooded.
The water is receding but slowly.
Red Cross of Southern Arizona has responded to the area to help those who cannot get home.
If you are concerned about getting home in that area, talk to a sheriff deputy in the area of Sandario and Snyder Hill.
They can determine an alternative route or escort you if possible.
