TUCSON - Another cool day for May standards to wrap up the work week.
Expect mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid 80's today, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Temperatures today likely run 1-3° below average. Winds this afternoon will be relatively light, out of the west at 10-15 MPH.
A cold front passing north of Tucson cranks up the winds this weekend. Strongest gusts are pegged for Mother's Day, with southwest winds up to 30 MPH. Highs this weekend will be around the 90° mark.
Models continue showing a strong warming trend next week, with a run at Tucson's first 100° day of the year as early as Thursday.
