TUCSON - Gusty winds, seasonal temps to start the week.
Low pressure over the Dakotas and high pressure near Nevada brings the breezes back this afternoon, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Expect winds up to 20 MPH out of the west-northwest today as high temps peak in the low 90's. The average high for Tucson this time of year is 93 degrees.
Winds should subside after sunset this evening.
High pressure takes control of the forecast the rest of the week. Southern Arizona sees lots of sun and a gradual warm-up over the next several days, with mid to upper 90's tomorrow through Friday. Heading into the holiday weekend, the mercury reaches the 100's in Tucson for the first time this year.
Overnight lows through Sunday bottom out in the 60's and 70's metro-wide.
