Community Food Bank receives big donation

TUCSON- The Community Food Bank received a large donation Thursday, to help them feed the hungry.

Sam Levitz Furniture presented the food bank with a $20,000 check in honor of the furniture store's 60th anniversary sale.

The check came at a good time for the food bank. Their donations are down by 1.3 million pounds.

If you would like to help, The Community Food Bank is asking for donations of peanut butter, cereal, canned soups, canned meat and canned vegetables.
