Cooler temps follow warm weekend start

TUCSON - A series of disturbances will bring some changes to this warm November start.

Tucson topped out well above average at 86 this afternoon courtesy of an area of high pressure. This weekend warm up will be short lived, however, as a series of disturbances will help us feel a little more like fall.

The first upper level low is rather weak and will move through late tonight and early tomorrow. This system will bring us some added cloud cover and a slight chance of showers through the early morning hours. Temperatures will also drop about five degrees to wrap the weekend with a forecast high of 82.

A stronger system will dig into southern Arizona on Monday bringing a slightly better chance to see scattered showers into Monday night. Expect the winds to kick up starting Monday with some 25mph wind gusts and the cooler air to really start settling in on Tuesday.
