PHOENIX (AP) - Democrat Felecia Rotellini is signaling her intent to run again for Arizona Attorney General.
The former prosecutor and bank regulator was defeated by Republican Tom Horne for the state's top prosecutor jobs in the 2010 election. The race was close, with Horne winning by approximately 63,000 votes out of a total of 1.6 million ballots cast.
She filed documents with the Arizona Secretary of State's Office Monday creating a campaign committee and her spokesman says she's running for the office. Former U.S. Surgeon General and 2012 U.S. Senate candidate Richard Carmona is listed as the chairman of her campaign.
Horne considered running for governor in 2014 but is embroiled in a campaign financed case stemming from his race against Rotellini and has said he'll instead seek re-election.
