TUCSON - Best chance of storms over the next week comes today.
Ample moisture over the Sonoran Desert leads to scattered showers and storms, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Activity won't be as widespread as yesterday, but a few storms may produce heavy rainfall through this evening.
Scattered storms become more isolated late tonight.
Drier air from the east works in by the weekend, decreasing storm chances to the isolated variety. Expect daytime highs to range from the mid 90's Saturday to 100's Labor Day.
