TUCSON - A manager at a midtown apartment complex discovered pipe bombs and ammunition in a unit that was under eviction proceedings, police said.

The manager was cleaning the unit when the discovery was made, Tucson Police Sgt. Chris Widmer said.

The apartments are located at 610 E. Mohave Rd. - that's near North First Avenue and East Ft. Lowell.

Police evacuated the building and are currently waiting as of 2:55 p.m. to serve a search warrant, Widmer said.

Tucson Police along with the Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms are working the scene.
