TUCSON- The Pima County Sheriff's Department is holding a dispose-a-med event on Saturday morning.

The event will go from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in front of the Safeway at 2940 W. Valencia Road.

Deputies will collect prescriptions, over-the-counter tablets, capsules, liquids and creams, but will not collect metal or glass inhalation aerosol bottles, syringes or epi-pens.
