Marcela's Cafe and Bakery received ten critical violations. At least 30 flies were counted at a food prep area. One was found in a container of soup. An employee was observed preparing rolled tacos with bare hands. Sealed bags of beef tested at 57-degrees, well over the required maximum 41-degrees. Five gallon containers of refried beans and green beans were stored in cooler with expired discard dates. With more than 4 critical violations not corrected during the inspection, Marcela's Cafe and Bakery, at 715 W. Dorsey in Ajo, was given a "Provisional" rating.
