Double dip of winter weather this week

TUCSON - The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Cochise County from 12 AM until 11 AM tomorrow. This includes Sierra Vista, Douglas, Bisbee & Willcox.

A low pressure trough brings scattered snow showers south of a Nogales-Willcox line overnight, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Up to 2" snow is possible below 5,000 feet, with Bisbee and Portal seeing up to 5" snow from midnight to late Tuesday morning. Dry conditions should prevail elsewhere.

Another cold front crashes into the state by late week. Expect gusty winds, isolated showers and much cooler temperatures starting Friday. High temps this weekend will be 15 degrees below average.
