Dozens of vehicles vandalized in Tucson

TUCSON - The Tucson Police Department is investigating multiple cases of vehicle vandalism.

According to Sergeant Chris Widmer, it happened late Saturday night or early Sunday.

Penny Scott lives near Escalante Road and Camino Seco. Her back windshield was shattered and had a small hole in it.

"It makes you angry, and it makes you feel violated," Scott said.

John Hernandez' window was blown out with glass on the ground.

"I noticed my wife's purse was in the car," He said, "and that's when it seemed strange that it wasn't a break-in."

The vandals apparently even shot the window of a Pima County Sheriff Deputy's SUV.

Widmer says 911 started receiving calls from people living in the area of Broadway and Houghton around 6am Sunday.

Sgt. Widmer says more than 60 vehicles were damaged.

They appear to be shot out with BB guns or pellet guns.

So far, no arrest in this case.
