Drier, warmer work week on tap for Tucson

TUCSON - After widespread valley rain this past weekend, Chamber of Commerce weather returns.

High pressure off the West Coast drives afternoon temps in the low 70's today, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Morning cloud cover is expected to break up by lunchtime.

The 80's make a return to Tucson by Thursday afternoon. Models hint at a cold front clipping the Four Corners Friday and Saturday, bringing gusty winds to southern Arizona. Any rain or mountain snow looks to stay well north of the viewing area.
