Echoing Hope Ranch to serve families impacted by autism

TUCSON - Coming soon, to a 10 acre area near Hereford, is a home-away-from-home for young adults with autism.

What used to be a bed and breakfast, Echoing Hope Ranch will house ten people who are entering adulthood. There will be all sorts of activities on the ranch, like gardening and caring for animals. An around the clock staff, to help the residents with their independence, is also promised.

Organizers still have to finalize their purchase of the property, which they expect to do in December. In the meantime, they're fundraising and looking for volunteers, to get the property ready. You can help EHR raise money by voting for them online in the Chase Community Giving contest. Click here to vote.

The organization is in desperate need of funds to help close on the property by the end of December; representatives say they need $75,000 by the end of the year. Click here to make a direct contribution to the ranch.

Echoing Hope Ranch will also provide in home services for families in the Tucson area. To learn more about Echoing Hope Ranch, click here.
