TUCSON - A few showers and storms possible for the first day of fall.
An upper level trough moving into the state combined with a some leftover moisture should be enough to support a few showers and storms through the early afternoon hours. According to Meteorologist John Patrick, this system will also bring along some gusty winds out the west between 15-25mph.
Behind the system dry air will settle in ending any rain chances but temperatures will start to moderate. Daytime highs will be more seasonable in the low to mid 90s with overnight lows falling to a very manageable mid 60s into the upcoming work week.
