PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities say eastbound Interstate 10 at the Loop 202 Santan Freeway in Phoenix is closed due to a fatal crash.

State transportation officials say all traffic heading from the Phoenix area toward Casa Grande is being rerouted as the Department of Public Safety and transportation crews respond to the crash.

Authorities did not immediately provide any details about the deadly crash.

Transportation Department spokesman Garin Groff says drivers should expect delays. He could not say when the eastbound lanes of the interstate would reopen.
