Federal agents capture thousands of 'Other Than Mexicans'

TUCSON - You may be alarmed when you hear who is coming across our border with Mexico illegally.

Border-crossers are not always from Mexico or other Latin-American countries.

So, where are these other crossers coming from?

[See the PDF list of the citizenship of these detainees]

The U.S. Border Patrol calls them 'OTM' or Other Than Mexican, and there are thousands of them.

The News 4 Tucson Investigators filed a Freedom of Information Request with the Border Patrol, so we could bring you a more complete picture of the problem. And it's not a pretty picture. Too often, these crossers come from countries considered sponsors of terrorism.
