TUCSON - Longing for Fall? This forecast is for you.

Warm air continues migrating south as high pressure moves away from the state, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Daytime highs today into the weekend top out in the low 90's for Tucson under mostly sunny skies. These temps are 2-4 degrees above average for this time of year.

A pattern change unfolds next week, courtesy of a low pressure trough shifting onto the California coast. Gusty winds up to 20 MPH develop Monday, lasting through Thursday. Temperatures tumble also, with mid to upper 80's for highs starting Tuesday. Expect partly cloudy skies to rule the middle of next week.

After a week's worth of abnormal heat, high temperatures Wednesday and Thursday should run a few degrees below average for mid-October.
