TUCSON - Lots of clouds, but little in the way of rainfall today.
A weak trough off Baja California may touch off a few isolated showers this afternoon, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Areas south and east of Tucson will see the best chance of these showers, although a few sprinkles can't be ruled out for the metro.
Highs today reach the mid 70's under mostly cloudy skies.
Odds for a wet weekend in the Sonoran Desert are increasing, courtesy of a developing storm system in the Pacific. Isolated showers are possible late Saturday afternoon, increasing in coverage by Sunday. High temps cool down to the 60's for most of southern Arizona the 2nd half of the weekend.
